Armed services and emergency services personnel make sacrifices daily to ensure the safety and security of our nation at home and abroad.

To honor their sacrifice, Tricoci University of Beauty Culture’s Chicago Northwest Campus, 5321 North Harlem Avenue in Norwood Park, will offer free haircuts for male and female veterans, active military, police, fire, EMTs and the like. Free haircuts will be offered from noon to 8 pm on Friday, July 1. Walk-ins are welcome. Appointments are not required, but can be made by calling 773-467-1900.

“We can never do enough to say thank you to the brave men and women who protect and defend us. This is a way we can honor their sacrifice,” says Amy Collazo, Campus Director of Tricoci University’s Chicago Northwest Campus. “We hope our students are busy all day! What better way to begin the Fourth of July weekend!”

The celebratory event includes a DJ, tasty baked goods, additional services for purchase and a one-day discount off men’s grooming products, including Baxter of California and Redken for Men.

Tricoci University’s Chicago Northwest campus is one of 14 campus locations; and one of six that offers the Barber Program. The program provides the most current, technically precise and versatile education available in the barber training field today. All services are provided by students under the supervision of a licensed instructor.
