TAMPA — March 30, 2015 — Summit Salon Academy-Tampa, 4802 Gunn Highway, Suite 144, will host its annual “Night of Fashion” event and raise money for the fight against autism. Funds raised at the event will support Autism Speaks, an international autism research and advocacy organization.

The Greatest Fashion Show on Earth begins at 7 p.m on April 14. Guests will be inspired by three runway looks: Traditional American Circus, World Carnival and Cirque du Macabre. The event includes a silent auction. VIP tickets are $20, which include early seating and refreshments from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. General admission tickets are $5, and doors open at 6 p.m.

According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, one in 68 children has autism or autism spectrum disorder, the terms used to describe a a group of complex brain development disorders.

“Autism is a problem that continues to grow, and one that impacts my family directly,” said Chris Pearson, president of Summit Salon Academy, whose daughter is autistic. “Many of us and many of our guests and students are touched by Autism in some way. Our fashion show is a way we can make a difference in the fight against autism.”
